With our recent event announcements, NFRPP wants to highlight Susan N. Herman, who previously spoke with us and will be at both of our newly announced October programs. Susan N. Herman is an the inaugural Ruth Bader Ginsburg Professor of Law at @brooklynlawschool who has written and spoken widely in the areas of Constitutional Law and Criminal Procedure. In preparation for her return to NFRPP in October, we encourage everyone to look back at Susan’s previous visit for the program “The Supreme Court and Originalism.” During this program, Susan and two other outstanding experts shared their thoughts on originalism and its place in the Supreme Court. We are always happy to welcome back our experts to share more of their knowledge, and we are pleased to announce that Susan Herbst, one of the speakers participating in our newly announced September program “State of the 2024 Elections: Context and Predictions from Academe” has previously spoken with NFRPP. Susan Herbst, a Professor of Political Science at University of Connecticut and scholar of public opinion, media, and American politics, joined NFRPP last August to facilitate a discussion on polarization and the threat it poses to our democracy.
