NFRPP provides accurate and unbiased information to enable citizens to better comprehend and act on pressing concerns and exciting opportunities confronting our state and nation. The top three areas of focus include:

  • Climate change policies, adaptation and mitigation at the national, state and local levels
  • A clear and defined energy policy that will enhance the environmental and economic position of NJ while at the same time targeting, promoting and supporting a move towards renewable energy technologies and resources.
  • Identifying and informing members and the public about the facts on the continued reliance on fossil fuels, hydraulic fracturing and the threats to citizens from infrastructure and by-products associated with this type of extreme energy extraction.

NFRPP also provides ongoing, fact-based information to the public and policy makers on global, national, state and local issues that impact the protection of public health and safety, conservation of natural resources, sustainability and environmental stewardship.
